Help Lenny Recover From Emergency Surgery

If you know me, you know Lenny. He’s not just my cat, he’s my shadow and my best friend. Every day when I come home, he’s right there at the door waiting for me. He follows me from room to room, curls up beside me at night, and makes sure I never forget that I’m loved.

Right now, Lenny needs help.

Recently, Lenny became very sick. We discovered that he had been eating plastic pine needles from our artificial Christmas tree, which caused a dangerous blockage in his stomach and colon. He needed emergency surgery at Salida Veterinary Hospital to save his life.

The costs for his surgery, recovery, medications, and follow‑up care are more than I can manage alone. And yes… there will be a cone involved. Lenny is not going to be thrilled about the cone. In fact, he may file a formal complaint. But if it helps him heal, we’ll get through it together.
