Lenny is a survivor. Someone abandoned him after a rattlesnake bite. Arizona Humane Society found him, rushed him into care, and saved his life. Because of them, Lenny got a second chance.

We adopted Lenny soon after. He changed our world overnight. He became the center of our universe. Our family and friends love him deeply. He brings laughter, routine, and chaos into every room, and we love him for it.

Now Lenny faces another fight.

Lenny has lymphoma.

Right now, Lenny is a strong candidate for canine chemotherapy. His lab work shows he is otherwise healthy. This gives him a real chance at treatment focused on extending his life while protecting his quality of life.
We are raising funds to cover Lenny’s cancer treatment and medical care. Every donation helps give him the time, comfort, and love he deserves.

More about Lenny:
Lenny lives life at full volume. He loves bananas. Long walks along the canal are a daily must. Hiking lights him up. He jumps from rock to rock like a mountain goat. He steals our spots on the couch and refuses to give them back. He owns too many dog beds and ignores all of them in favor of the guest room bed.

Lenny is vocal when he feels happy and even louder when you move too slow. Booty scratchies are required. His nickname list keeps growing. Stinky Dinky. Stinky Dinky Booty Boy. Lenny Boy.

About Lenny’s treatment:
Canine chemotherapy works differently than human chemotherapy. Treatment for dogs prioritizes comfort and quality of life. Most dogs tolerate chemo well, with side effects often limited to mild or occasional nausea or fatigue. Many return quickly to their normal routines and personalities, which matters deeply because Lenny has a lot of personality.

Our goal is not for Lenny to live longer for us. Our goal is for Lenny to live well.

Thank you for supporting Lenny.
Thank you for helping our Stinky Dinky keep fighting.

About Lenny's treatment and costs
Lenny’s canine chemotherapy focuses on comfort and maintaining his quality of life. Side effects are usually mild, including occasional nausea or fatigue, and many dogs quickly return to their normal routines and personalities.
Stage 1: The immediate costs to start treatment, includes the oncology consult, diagnostic confirmation and staging, the first chemotherapy session, and take-home supportive medications, totaling around $3,500.
Stage 2: Covers ongoing treatments over several months, including additional chemo sessions, bloodwork, and follow-up visits, estimated at $4,500 to $7,000.
Stage 3: Allows for contingency or emergency care, such as unexpected complications or added testing, at roughly $1,000.

Our total goal is currently about $12,000, though the ultimate amount may change depending on adjustments in Lenny’s treatment plan and price differences along the way.
