Help Lennox Walk Again

Lennox was adopted by Laura on December 4, 2019 from the Toronto Humane Society. He was brought there from Northern Manitoba, where he was left at the side of the road. Since he was adopted by Laura, the amount of joy they have brought each other is insurmountable. He is an amazingly sweet dog – the gentlest, most loyal and playful pup we’ve ever met.
Lennox has patellar luxation – “a condition where the kneecap rides outside the femoral groove when the knee is flexed.” In laymen’s terms: his kneecaps pop out when he walks, and over time, this condition is detrimental to his ability to walk. He is a mix between a greyhound and a chihuahua – he was likely born this way due to his mixed breed, and he needed surgery to fix it.
Laura took him to surgery nine weeks ago, but unfortunately after the swelling went down, the screws in his knees loosened, and Lennox needs a revision surgery so he can walk again. The cost of the vet bills are extremely high, but there was no way Laura would pass on the opportunity to do anything in her power to help him recover and get the medical attention he needs.
This is where we come in – we wanted to get Laura the help she needs too. Even the smallest donations count, even a few spare dollars, to help Lenny walk again. We know that this is a difficult time for all – so even a share of this page means the world.
