Hi everyone,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts but a lot of hope for our sweet Boxer, Lennox.

If you know Lennox, you know he is the picture of a happy, healthy boy—aside from his usual allergies, he’s always been full of life. That’s why we were completely blindsided during our annual vet visit this past Tuesday. Our vet discovered a 2cm mass that is suspected to be anal sac adenocarcinoma.

The Good News:

Lennox’s blood work came back absolutely perfect! This is a wonderful sign that his body is strong and ready to fight. We met with the vet again today to start him on a specialized diet and probiotics to get his system in peak shape for what comes next.

The Plan:

Lennox is scheduled for surgery on March 24th to remove the mass. Just before the procedure, the vet will perform X-rays to ensure the cancer hasn't metastasized to his lungs. We are staying incredibly positive and hopeful that we caught this early enough.

Why we need your help:

As many of you know, specialized veterinary care is a significant financial undertaking. Between the initial discovery on Tuesday and our follow-up today, we have already invested $1,400 in diagnostics and preparation. The surgery itself is estimated to cost between $1,500 and $2,500, assuming there are no complications.

Lennox is more than just a pet; he is our family. We want to give him every possible chance to live a long, pain-free life, but the sudden financial toll is more than we can carry alone right now.
