I Just Want to Be a Father to My Daughter

My name is Lenn’e, and for the past 11 years, I’ve been fighting for the right to be in my daughter’s life—my only child.

When she was born, I wasn’t listed on her birth certificate. I had to take a DNA test just to prove what I already knew in my heart—that she was mine. That moment should have been the beginning of everything… but instead, it was the start of a long and painful fight.
