Help Lene Represent Canada at Junior Pan Ams and Worlds

My name is Lene-Marie McCrackin. I am an athlete from Beaumont, Alberta, and I am currently raising money to cover the costs of my training and travel as a member of the Junior National Wrestling Team.
About me...
I began wrestling when I was only four years old (more or less). My family had a few mats in our garage in rural Alberta and my very first coach - my Dad - threw me into practice with my brothers. I remember the electric pride and excitement I felt leaving that practice; I was so proud to be a wrestler like my brothers, like my Dad. Since then I have been working to excite this same pride in them and the rest of my community. That little girl would be so amazed if she could see where we are now! Wrestling has taken me so far and brought so many wonderful people into my life. Right now I am on the NCAA Women's Wrestling team at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. I just finished my second year studying English and History. In the 2024-25 season I was a national qualifier, was ranked in the top 10 wrestlers in the NCAA at my weight, won gold at u23 Pan Ams in Mexico, and was awarded SFU Female Freshman of the Year. None of these victories are mine alone, but instead are a result of the selfless time and effort invested in me by my community.
I have been blessed with many chances to make everyone proud and this weekend brought another. I competed at the u20 World Team Trials in Edmonton, Alberta. I won first place in the 68 kilogram class. I was also named the Outstanding Female Wrestler of the tournament.
What does this mean?
Winning these trials means that I have earned a spot on the Canadian National Team for the 2025 season! I am going to be competing in the Pan-American Championships in Lima, Peru on July 11th, and potentially at the World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, later this summer. Along with my coaches at Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club, as well as Edmonton Wrestling Club and Peterson Wrestling Academy, and my strength coach Magnus at McCrackin Strength Training, I will be preparing for these competitions. At the same time, I will be working a full time and a part time job to keep up with the costs of living, my schooling, and my training. It can get pretty tricky to keep up with all of this at once..
Here's where you can help!
I am asking for your support to help fund my wrestling ventures for this season. The money I raise will go towards the cost of my training, my flights, my accommodations and my registration for the Pan Ams and World Championships. Every little bit counts, and if you are able to support me by donating or sharing this fundraiser it will be endlessly appreciated.
If you have any questions, want to hear more specifics about my training itinerary, or want to support through a sponsorship/some other way, do not hesitate to reach out :)
