My name is Lendsey Jeffers, and I find myself on a challenging journey that has tested my family's strength in unimaginable ways. On March 6th, my fiancé, Kenny, was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a series of seizures. Unfortunately, these seizures caused significant damage to his kidneys. He has already undergone three rounds of dialysis, and the doctors recommend a permanent outpatient treatment plan moving forward. The logistics are challenging, as we live 1.14 hours away from the facility where he is receiving care, which means many hours on the road for appointments.

Just a few days later, on March 11th, my father was admitted to the same hospital. He suffered a massive stroke and required brain surgery to remove two blood clots. Currently, he is unable to speak and struggles to follow commands, but he is breathing on his own. It is crucial for me to be by his side as much as possible to support him in his recovery.

We are reaching out to ask for help with transportation costs between Toledo and the hospital, where I can be with my dad. Having someone there with him is essential to support his healing process. Additionally, any contributions would also assist with overnight stays and the expenses associated with Kenny's ongoing dialysis treatments.
