Hello, my name is Lena Barr. My husband and I are facing a difficult time. About seven months ago, my husband suffered a severe injury and requires multiple surgeries for work. In the course of the last seven months, our bills have piled up, and now we have to move because my husband has not had his surgery. This also means that he won't have an income. He does receive pay from his job, but it is 1/3 of his actual paycheck because it is sick leave pay. Needless to say, this isn't enough to cover our bills or the move.

We are in need of some assistance. Local charities have run out of funding to actually help us. My husband has lived a life of service. We are now asking for some of the same goodwill in return. What we are asking for is the money to move so that my husband can have his surgeries and go back to work, and continue on our path, raising our kids and taking care of life.
