Good day friends, family, and other kind folks,

As many of you know, the Caldor fire is currently burning in El Dorado County. It burned the majority of the town of Grizzly Flats, and sadly, that included the house of Lena and daughter Hanna. As seen in the picture, their entire house was burned to the foundation—the only structure left is one piece of a greenhouse frame.

I created this donation page to help Lena and Hanna have the resources they need to find temporary shelter and buy any personal and/or clothing items they may need now that their home and its belongings have been entirely lost to the Caldor fire.

As many of you know, it takes a considerable amount of time to recoup from major tragedy, and there’s a long gap of time between California houses burning down and any sort of financial compensation or support (and when it does finally come, that compensation is usually lacking.) Please help me gather donations for Lena and her daughter to make this already terrible time a little bit easier to navigate.
