Dear friends and family,

My name is Lena and I'm a brand new 4th grade student at Mindful Journey Academy! Our school is a special kind of school because we get to learn outside! It's super fun because we read under trees, look for bugs, do science with real plants and animals, and learn math by measuring things in the garden! We even get to cook our own breakfast and lunch over a fire!

Hi all!

We wanted to share something exciting happening for our family and ask for your support in making it possible. This year (and hopefully many more to come), Lena can attend a beautiful Waldorf-inspired outdoor school--a place where kids learn through nature, creativity, and imagination right here in our hometown. They spend their days exploring outside, creating art, learning through stories, and discovering the world in a gentle, hands-on way. If you know Lena, you know how much she loves being outdoors and how curious she is about everything around her. We believe that it is truly the perfect fit for her curious, nature-loving spirit and that she will grow with confidence and learn in a way that fits who she is.

We are so excited about this change from public education and are doing everything we can to make this opportunity happen, but we could use some help.
