Lena Torvik is a self employed mobile veterinarian in Fallon, NV. As all expecting mothers, she was looking forward to the birth of her bouncing baby girl in February.
However, she was recently hospitalized and transferred as a critical patient to St. Mary's hospital due to complications from her pregnancy. Lena has a high risk form of Placenta Previa, a condition which can be very risky and potentially life threatening for Lena and her baby girl.
Currently Lena and her baby girl are stable but will have to remain hospitalized for the remainder of her pregnancy.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, Lena is unable to visit with her family and her 2 year old son. Her husband is doing his best to visit when he can, work to support the family and take care of their son.
We are asking for any donations to help support the family during this difficult time as expenses quickly add up and Lena is unable to work and has to temporarily shut down her business.
