Help Leila's treatment and road ahead

Leila Elliott, our dearest friend, has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. She has a very rare genetic condition called MEN1  which is hereditary & associated with tumors of the endocrine glands.  One of the most common tumors with MEN1 involves the Pancreas.  Not good news, but "neuroendocrine tumor" gives some hope.  Sadly in the last 2 months and after a slew of tests, they discovered it has progressed and she's facing a very hard battle. The cancer has metastasized to her lungs and liver,  Stage 4. This is a very rare situation at  her age and in otherwise good health.  In the weeks and months to come, she enters into very aggressive treatment.  She can’t work, and her husband Edward Ridgeway will have to put down his own job to meet her needs of treatment and support. Leila is as fierce as they come.  She's humble, hilarious, brilliant, strong, and drops so many things in her own life to help others. This fight she's heading into is brutally apparent to everyone close to her. To all her friends and anyone who feels able to give, please help relieve some amount of the financial burden…as she and Ted face this.   She needs us now.   Leila is only 47 years old and we all want many more years with her!  Any amount counts, thank you!
