Hi, my name is Joshua Wilson, (pen name Dardarax), and I need your help.

My wife, Leilani (known as the artist GoldenGriffiness) is sick. She has a mouth infection and it can become lethal very quickly. We are taking her to the hospital every day for an IV drip of antibiotics, but it's not enough. She needs surgery and the medical bills are piling up.

I live in Canada, but my wife is new here. I'm getting her set up for Permanent Residency, but she isn't approved yet. She also isn't approved on my Medical Services Plan yet because I only go that sent in a few weeks ago. But in that time, a popped filling of hers and a wisdom tooth have become seriously impacted and now her face is swelling and her life is in danger. It's an out of control infection that can take her life if left untreated. But with no medical plans currently in place, we have to take the bills ourselves and with each visit costing about $1000, the bill is looking like it'll be $10,000+ by the end of her treatment.

She's the love of my life, my wife of two years and partner for over six. We're the best of friends. We make art together, I write, she draws and we play D&D together and make funny stories and read together. I can't imagine living without her. I don't want us to end up in poverty and debt because of something like this.

Anything you can contribute will go towards the payment plans I'm setting up with the hospitals. Some will likely go towards medicine and medical tools needed to help my wife. A bit will go towards transport to the hospitals and towards living expenses such as food during her recovery.

I will post more details about the specifics of the plan(s) once I get them. She is currently taking Mar-Ketrolac for the pain and Apo-Metronidazole to help with the infection. I am unaware of the specific antibiotic they are using in her IV drip, but when I learn it I will post that bit of information too. We have a plan for her surgery but the exact bill for that is unknown. We have dental insurance so that will hopeflly cover some of it.
