Help Leila Walk Again: Support Her Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Alejandra, and I’m reaching out for support for my sweet lovely German Shepherd, Leila. She’s not just a pet- she’s a part of my heart. Leila has brought so much joy, protection, and companionship into my life and others, and now she needs our help!

Leila was diagnosed with a serious hip issue when she was young that requires surgery to relieve her pain and help her regain mobility. She did have her right side done, but never the left. Recently, her right leg and left leg have been giving her a lot of trouble. It’s been heartbreaking to watch her struggle just to stand or walk without discomfort. After consulting with her orthopedic surgeon, it’s clear that surgery is the best and most compassionate option to give Leila the quality of life she deserves.

The estimated cost for Leila’s surgery and post-op care is between $2,239.25 and $2,383.15. This includes the surgical procedure, anesthesia, medications, rehabilitation, and other associated veterinary services.

While I’ve paid for her new X-rays, sedation, bloodwork and am doing everything I can to cover the costs, I can’t do it alone. I’ve recently have had a plethora of bills come in and that is why I’m now here asking for your help for my baby. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Leila’s treatment and recovery, ensuring she gets the care she needs without delay.
