Leigh’s grand puppy has come down with leptospirosis. He is only 9 months old but is sooo loved!

Leptospirosis is a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria. These bacteria can be found worldwide in soil and water. The bacteria have affected the puppy’s kidneys and the next couple days are crucial to his survival.

Leigh and the puppy’s daddy have taken him to UC Davis Veterinary Hospital for treatment.
