Help LeighAnn Get Back On Her Feet

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for clicking on my page; that alone means so much to me. My name is LeighAnn Cannon, and I am fundraising for myself.

Let’s get straight to the story:

In September of 2021, I decided to make the biggest move of my life — one that I and others had been waiting on me to make — to Los Angeles. Everything was looking up since the lockdown: I had a job at Universal Studios as a seasonal performer, I had found a cute spot in Koreatown, and I was finally in a location where I could pursue my acting career more seriously. It was both an exciting and expensive decision!

On the drive from the Bay Area to Los Angeles, my car’s transmission died in Bakersfield. I was left with no car for weeks and a $2,000+ bill in addition to the money going towards my move. A few months later, once I had gotten my car back, I got into a bad collision (everyone was uninjured, thank goodness), causing me to get another rental for multiple weeks (about $800). It was eventually decided my car was totaled, and I would have to find a new car.

Luckily, with some help from my family, I was able to purchase a new-used car! However, the debt I am in has only doubled since September. Due to all the bills at the start of the move, I have yet to be able to get back on my feet. The stress of constantly working while still drowning in debt has taken a major toll on my mental health. My depression and anxiety have gone through the roof, moving me into survival mode, and I’m scared of it worsening.

I never thought things would get to this point. This has been an extremely heartbreaking and humbling experience for me. The truth is, I’ve hit a point where I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to keep going on without your help. Both mentally and monetarily.
