Support for Leidel Flores Perez's Family

Sadly, Covid has finally taken one of our LMC family.  Leidel Perez, our Senior Service Tech at Palmera in Doral, Florida, died on Monday due to complications from Covid-19.  There is much we don’t know around the circumstances surrounding his contraction of the virus, but in any case, our hearts are simply broken for he and his family. 

Leidel joined us this summer as we opened up Palmera, and was a valued member of the team.  Our Dr. Pascal reached out to his wife, Damarys, and she reported that Leidel talked about loving his job at LMC, his community at Palmera, and especially the team there.  The Regional over Palmera, Amber Budney, said that “when you were in Leidel’s presence, you could just feel his sweetness.”  I know that the Palmera team is grieving right now, because we have lost a really good friend.

We have made it a practice to help out with funerals as the need arises at LMC.  We have set up a GoFundMe account to help Leidel’s family with funeral expenses, and I hope you will give generously if you feel led to. The beneficiary of all funds raised will be Damarys Ramos, Leidel's wife.

Life is fleeting, each day is precious, and above all, stay diligent against this virus, it is really serious.
