Leica's mom, Rocio, visited Mexico on February of this year 2023. During her visit, Rocio slipped and fell down the stairs leaving her with a broken hip. She was taken to the general hospital in the area she was in. She was admitted to the hospital and was needing surgery. It took 30 days for the surgery to happen since they were waiting for people to donate blood. 3 days after the surgery they informed her that she needed another surgery because one of the screws had fallen in her stomach from the first surgery. She was able to get her second surgery right away and stayed at the hospital for recovery for couple more days. After that, she still needed more blood which extended the stay even longer. Total stay in Mexico for Leica and her mom was 45 days. Leica, using her own experience to cover most of the bills, was able to bring her mom back to California from Mexico. Her mom has been in and out of the hospital and now being told that she needs a 3rd surgery since the Mexico hospital did not do it properly. Leica is not working as of right now to take care of her mother and is in need of money to cover hospital bills. Please help so her mom is able to have a proper surgery in California and for the hospital stays. Thank you so much!
