Help Leia Secure Legal Aid for Her Son's Safety

My name is Leia, and I’m reaching out for help in what has become the most difficult and terrifying time of my life. I am a mother fighting to protect my child, and I need your support to secure the legal help we need to ensure my son’s safety and future. I have been in a domestic violent relationship with my son's father for 3+ years, and it has only escalated.

After years of fear, manipulation, and abuse, I was forced to flee the state with my son to protect us both. I left everything behind in search of safety, but in doing so, I couldn't attend custody hearings because I simply could not afford a lawyer.

Now, his father is threatening to press charges and is seeking full custody of my son. This threat is not only damaging but terrifying. He knows I’m vulnerable, and without legal representation, I feel powerless. But I cannot, and will not, allow him to take my son away from me—especially when I am trying so hard to keep him safe from a dangerous environment. I’m humbly asking for your support in securing a lawyer who can help us navigate this legal battle and ensure that my son remains in a safe and loving home. The cost of legal fees is more than I can handle on my own, due to the damage this man has caused to numerous of my properties and I need assistance to level the playing field in court.
