Hi everyone! Meet Leia the American bull dog mixed with hound.  Leia had a rough start from birth, she was the runt of the litter and had a difficult time latching on from her mom and at the time she didnt even reach a pound.  Leia was brought in from her breeder to have her euthanized. 

Luckily, the vet was able to make the breeder surrender her instead.  I was at the right time and place and ended up adopting Leia at 2 weeks old and provided around the clock care, not knowing what her prognosis would be.  Two years later, she is thriving and a healthy, goofy 80 pounds of love. 

Living on the beautiful island of Hawaii, Leia loves any outdoor activities.  She loves to swim and chase her toy ball at the beach, basically any place you can throw a ball to play catch, Leia is in heaven.  Sadly, she started to develop a limp which caused pain around her front shoulders. 

Leia was referred to a Orthopedic Surgeon where she was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia.
She has been limited on walks and has not been able to run around and chase her favorite ball since. 

Please help donate and support Leia in her surgery so she has a chance to run around again in a pain free life.
