This is for our baby girl Leia. She is a 7-year-old part bullmastiff, and she is the light of our life. I used to tell everyone how when I was depressed, she would bring me all her toys and lay next to me. She brings joy to our lives every day.

Leia's mass on her foot started out looking like a mole in the beginning. Then it grew, and now it looks like an open wound almost/tumor. We are going to be going to MSU and working with the oncology department to first, on February 11th, find out if it is cancer and then second, about a week later, to remove it. In total, this is going to be around 5 thousand dollars, an amount that we just can't come up with. I have $500 saved so far, and if I come up with more, I will amend the page. So our goal is $4,500. Please share!

Update:

we went to our appointment with the oncology team and found out that it is indeed cancer :( Leia did so great for her appointment, they said she kept trying to get tummy rubs!

Our next appointment, on March 2nd, is with the soft tissue surgery team and that is when we will schedule the surgery.
