Our sweet baby Leia is only 2 years old, and she is currently fighting for her life. On Friday night, we rushed her to the vet after she suddenly became very weak and lethargic. She was diagnosed with life-threatening anemia and immediately sent to a 24/7 pet hospital for emergency blood transfusions, testing, and around-the-clock monitoring.
We still don’t know the cause of her anemia, but what we do know is that Leia needs continued medical care, medications, and follow-up treatment to survive. Despite everything she’s going through, she’s still managing to fight, and we are doing everything possible to give her the chance to heal.
Unfortunately, the cost of saving Leia’s life has already exceeded $5,500, and ongoing care will continue to add up. This is far more than my family and I can afford on our own, but we cannot imagine losing her. Leia means the world to us—she’s family.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small, it will go directly toward Leia’s emergency care, medications, and the treatments she needs to fight this. If you cannot give, please consider sharing this page so that others may see her story.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and thoughts for Leia. With your help, we hope she can recover and live the long, happy life she deserves right beside her brother Leon.
