Hi everyone!
We are Lehakat Me'hatchala, or the Muhlenberg Israeli Dance Troupe. We were started in 2022 by Yoav Susskind (Muhlenberg class of 2025), and have grown ever since! We are entirely student run and are funded by donations and the generous help of the Muhlenberg Student Government Association. The past two years, we have performed in the Israeli Folk Dance Festival of Boston, and we are excited to be returning this year. The troupe has grown in skill, confidence, and character through these transformative trips. This year, we will also be performing in the Israeli Dance Festival of Washington, DC! We are grateful to have this opportunity and are ecstatic to be bringing our dancing and cheer to a new festival!
Through this troupe, our members have found a love of dance, a lifelong friends, and a family at college. This troupe means the world to us and we want to continue performing amazing dances for you in many years to come!
But we need your help!
Taking our 11 dancers to 2 festivals requires the support from our wonderful and uplifting communities near and far. Any donation helps, no matter the size. Community is the backbone of our troupe, and we couldn't do it without you!
Donations go to costs such as lodging, food, and travel - making sure that we can put on the best show possible!
We appreciate any help you can give, no amount to small (or big ). We, Lehakat Me'hatchala (The Muhlenberg Israeli Dance Troupe), thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us continue this amazing family, and for helping us continue the vibrant young adult Jewish life on Muhlenberg's campus.
