Lego has become family to many in the community when their love of art brought them to our Studio in MWC, OK. At HeartLocke Studio, art and ferrets abound for a one-of-a-kind experience.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Lego has quickly become seriously ill. I noticed she was having trouble breathing this morning and she was rushed to Neels Veterinary Hospital in OKC.
An ultrasound and x-rays showed her lungs are fluid-filled and inflamed. We brought her just in time.
She will be staying several nights at the hospital with IV fluids, medicine, and care.
I've never felt this way about a pet before, like she is family.
Understanding that others in the community feel similar and would be devastated if she were to die, I'm choosing to give her the care she needs to try and heal.
She is only 1 yr old and has had the best ferret life ever, with lots of love and care from all of you. Ferrets can live up to 10 years!
Please, from the bottom of my heart, help.
If Lego, or one of her other fluffnoodle friends have touched your life, please help.
Any donation in any amount, matters.
The vet anticipates around $2,800 in medical care.
We hope she pulls through and are trying to give her a fighting chance.
So many children and adults will be enormously affected if she were to go.
Myself included.
We want her to continue to be able to touch your life with her kisses, snuggles, and quirky ferret fun.
Please share.
