By now, many of you will know that our beloved community member and saxophone virtuoso, Paul Biondi, was recently in a devastating auto accident. Mercifully, he was able to somewhat walk away afterwards. But the car was a total loss and his precious instruments were thrown about the vehicle when it overturned; all of them have been severely damaged.
Paul cannot work or earn money without his instruments. He estimates the cost of repairs to be $12,000, to restore the instruments close to their original condition.
We are asking for your support to help our musical community icon, resident musician at Unity of the Valley, regular participant in gigs at the WOW Hall and Mac’s Vets club, band member of Eugene's home grown Sugar Beets, to return to work.
Paul has given so many of us so much, let’s come together with our financial support to help this survivor get back on his feet and re-enter our lives with his nourishing music, with a goal of $15,000.
I’m asking this as Joe Sanders, longtime friend, with the endorsement of Laura DuBois, Music Director at Unity of the Valley & Executive Director of the nonprofit Connecting from the Heart.
All donations, regardless of size, are deeply appreciated! Thank you for your help!
