On Thursday, June 19, what started as a regular day turned into a tragedy when we experienced a fire at Legal Grounds Paulus Hook. As a small family-run business, we've been spending the past week mitigating the extent of the damage and going through mountains of insurance paperwork. It's become evident that we are underinsured, so we are formulating an action plan on how to rebuild our space correctly and up to code with our given budget. Nevertheless, we are hoping to renovate and return to business in early 2026!

We are humbly asking for any donations that you can spare to help ease our struggling until we receive our insurance payout as well as add to the overall reconstruction budget. Our current goal is to be up and running officially come spring, so we can continue to serve Paulus Hook and Saint Peter's Prep as we have faithfully for over 20 years.
