Hi, my name is Leesa, and I’m reaching out with a heavy and grieving heart.

On July 4th, while fireworks lit the sky, our world came crashing down. My children and I lost our home in a devastating fire. In a matter of minutes, everything we had — our clothes, furniture, memories, and the place we called home — was completely destroyed.

Worse than the loss of our belongings, we also lost a member of our family that night — our beloved cat, who was trapped inside and didn’t survive. We are completely heartbroken.

While we are so grateful to be alive, we are now faced with the unimaginable: starting over with nothing. As a parent, it is overwhelming to try to stay strong for your children when you’ve all just lost everything — your sense of safety, stability, and even your furry family.

We’re asking for any help you can offer — no amount is too small. Donations will help us with:

• Emergency housing and relocation

• Basic necessities (clothes, food, hygiene, school supplies)

• Replacing what we can of our lives, and trying to find a new normal
