In August 2024, I suffered a serious accident at work, falling 13 feet and breaking my hip. At the time, I was in the process of buying a home for my family, but the injury caused the agreement to fall through. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to get back to work, but it’s been a struggle. I now have two screws in my hip and a plate in my leg, which makes it difficult to do the things I used to.

With less than six months to buy the home we’re living in, my family and I are facing the possibility of homelessness. The time off work has made it hard to save money, pay bills, and build my credit. Many of my bills have gone into collections, and I’m worried about keeping a roof over our heads.

The funds raised will go directly toward the down payment for our home and paying off the bills that have piled up during my recovery.
