Support Leela’s Family: Paying off Vet Bills

Our cat, Leela, was diagnosed with a uterine infection and had emergency surgery to take it out. After the surgery, Leela developed pancreatitis and wasn’t able to bounce back. After 11 days of follow up appointments, almost a dozen medications, another procedure to place an E-tube; we decided to let her go. Her little body has been through so much. The morning of April 18th, we brought her to the vet to go to sleep. Leela has changed our lives for the best and I could have never dreamed of having a more perfect cat. Everyday I’ve spent with her since the day we brought that sweet kitten home, almost 10 years ago, has been infinitely brighter. We did everything we could for her but it was her time to go. She fought with everything she could but she was so tired. Our situation isn’t so dire anymore, but any remaining donations are going towards paying off her vet bills.
