Help a Young Widow and Her 5 Children Stay in Their Home
Hi, my name is LeeAnna. I’m a 35-year-old nurse and mother of five beautiful children: Alycia (16), Destiny (15), Ayden (14), Dayton (11), and Allayna (3). One year ago, our world shattered when my husband and the love of my life died by suicide.
Since then, I’ve done my best to keep my family together—working where I can, showing up for my kids, and pushing forward through unimaginable grief. I’ve asked for help before—during the funeral, and again when the rent fell behind. And I’ll be honest: I never thought I’d still need help a year later. The world tells me I should be “better by now,” but grief doesn’t move on schedule. Life has kept hitting, and I’ve kept getting back up for my babies.
Right now, I need to raise $2,427.85 by this Friday to cover May rent and eviction-related fees. My full goal of $4,107.85 would allow me to catch up and cover both May and June, giving us the chance to breathe and stabilize. We were already behind when he passed, and it’s been a constant uphill climb since.
I just started a new nursing job, and with school now out, I can work more and keep rebuilding. I’m not giving up. I’m just asking for a hand up—so I can give my children the safety and security they deserve.
If you’re able to donate, share, or simply hold us in your heart, thank you. Your support makes a real difference.
With love and deep gratitude,
LeeAnna
