Hi, my name is Rusty Privett and I started this fundraiser to help my sister with vet bills for her adopted dog Joe. My sister has always been a dog lover and has fostered many dogs over the year. Joe was a foster dog of hers several years ago. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with hemophilia. This means that anytime he gets a cut or bleeds anywhere, it is very difficult to treat and he requires transfusions from nonhemophiliac dogs to stabilize his blood and stop the bleeding. This also meant that no one wanted to adopt Joe because of his diagnosis and the likelihood of high medical bills and a shorter life span. So my sister agreed to adopt him, and let me tell you that this is a great dog, the sweetest and most loving dog you could imagine. But he has had some unfortunate vet visits over the last year or two, and just recently, resulting in a bunch of vet bills. Please consider donating to help LeeAnn with these bills. All funds received will go to Joe's vet bills and any leftover amounts will go to LeeAnn's favorite dog rescue organization.
