Hello, my name is Kali, and I want to tell you about my friend, LeeAnn. She is funny, sweet, talented, and just an all-around great Mother, Daughter, wife, sister, and friend, who I love dearly. You might know her from any one of those roles or simply as the friendly wrestling lady. She has been a WA state wrestling official since before she even got out of middle school, and in 1998. became a Pairing official. She is now a critical, pivotal resource to the State's wrestling community. People often ask what she does outside of wrestling, and her answer is always that there is no "outside" of wrestling season; there is always something to prepare for! But, right now, she is currently fighting a battle with the C-word, something even she could not prepare for, and is quite honestly kicking its butt!! In February 2024, LeeAnn was diagnosed with an aggressive and invasive carcinoma breast cancer, that has spread to her lymph nodes. So far, she has underwent 5 months of chemotherapy, and on September 5, she underwent a double mastectomy, and the battle rages on. There is another potential surgery to remove any affected lymph nodes. There will be also be several weeks of radiation soon to begin, which will further weaken her and prevent her from working. Despite all this, she keeps up the fight; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, her money is running out, she needs our help. Her husband, who typically works a 50+hr weekly job, has been furloughed, and while she is recovering, she is unable to work. But, bills won't wait, and her insurance benefits are running low. She needs help with her monthly bills, such as a mortgage, car note, medical co-pays, food, etc. Please help her by donating anything and know that everything is valued and appreciated.
