Help Lee- Tragic Rollover Accident From Blown Tire
Donation protected
Our dear friends Lee and Francisco (and their dog, Lalo) were involved in a serious car accident and are in need of help with costs related to medical care and transportation due to the accident. My name is Jennifer Prevost and I created this fundraiser on behalf of Lee Jensen, a close family friend my parents met at the People Tree in Hollywood, 1981. (Any and all donations will go directly to Lee Jensen. See GoFundMe's Donor Guarantee https://www.gofundme.com/c/safety/gofundme-guarantee )
As many of you know, Lee suffered a tremendous personal loss in January. To add to calamity, he and Francisco had to leave their home and community in Long Beach to move to St Louis, Michigan as a result of losses related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

March 1st on their way to Michigan, their back tire blew out on a freeway in Illinois, causing their car to hit the median and then roll over several times.

Francisco is recovering, with bruises and chest pain from the seatbelt and airbag, and Lee's family has taken him to their home in Michigan to recover and be reunited with Lalo. Poor Lalo was thrown from the vehicle and found walking on the freeway. Thankfully he's in good shape, being cared for and spoiled by Lee's family members. The road to recovery for Lee, however, will be difficult and fraught with financial strain. Lee suffered serious injuries.

Lee and Francisco are good people and have been such amazing friends to my family and many others. It hurts to imagine what they're going through and what this will cost in the long run. It is difficult to see these pictures, but Lee is in good spirits and full of gratitude, saying they are lucky to be alive and that he is happy he got the worst of it. Lee's family members are helping as much as they can. I know he has been blessed with people who love and care for him and wish him well. I humbly ask anyone who can and wants to contribute to their situation, please donate if you have the means. Another way to help if you're unable to financially, is to please share this fundraiser so we can support our friends as much as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and I know they are forever grateful and appreciative of you all. I will update here frequently.
