Help Lee Regain Mobility and Independence

I am raising money for my cousin Lee, who has Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS), which is a rare, progressive, and neurodegenerative neuromuscular disease that causes muscle weakness and stiffness. My cousin went from being an independent and on-the-go person to basically being stuck in bed. She needs a lift to get her in and out of a wheelchair, and because of the weakness, she can't operate the wheelchair on her own. She's in a nursing home, and the staff do not have time to take her around. We are raising money to get her a power wheelchair. Unfortunately, Medicare and Medicaid don't cover the cost. We appreciate any assistance toward the cost of the wheelchair to give her a better quality of life.
