Help Lee “Big Lee” Smith

Hi, my name is Cassandra Wilson, and I’m hoping to get some support for Lee Smith. He is a proud 10 year IATSE member working hard as a welder/metal fabricator. Unfortunately Lee injured his knee in January 2022, while coming to a coworkers aid in distress. The recovery has been quite difficult and to make matters worse, it has caused strain and injury on his other knee during rehabilitation. Workman’s comp, is ofcourse not making things easy for him and he is having to request an appeal hearing. Who knows how long that will take place. He hasn’t been getting proper compensation and fell into a glitch in the system, not having his case properly handled. Lee Smith and his wife have always been very dedicated to helping fellow members in hardship, so please help reciprocate that in their time of need. Anyone that knows him, knows just how hard of a worker Lee Smith is, and a joy to be around.
