Our names are Ledea and Jace, and we are reaching out in hopes of receiving assistance following the devastating tornado on May 16 that severely damaged our home in Saint Louis City. We are currently displaced and in urgent need of temporary housing and support to begin rebuilding our lives.

The storm caused extensive damage, rendering our home unsafe and uninhabitable. We've been relying on the kindness of hotels, friends, and relatives for shelter, and while our support system has been truly amazing, the path forward feels incredibly overwhelming. We are so grateful for our community, our family, and our extended family—but we are in need of help to move forward.

Our home will be saved and repaired, but the expense is tremendous. This house means more to us than words can express. It was purchased with the last of the savings left to us by Jace’s late father, who wanted nothing more than to ensure we would always have a safe place to call home. To know our story is to understand how deeply I love, protect, and care for my child—and how much this home represents that promise.

Our rebuilding process is scheduled to begin on May 24, 2025. I've hired contractors with nothing but faith that the support will come. I’m doing everything I can, but I know I can’t do it alone.
