Help Lebanon's Families Impacted by the Explosion

My name is Talin Keshishian-Walker. I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, just a few miles away from the site of the Beirut explosion which happened on August 4. I currently live in California but have family and relatives back home.
Being thousands of miles away, I am seeking to help in any way I can.
I have been in touch with several of my family and relatives who are all okay but clearly shook. They had significant damages done to their homes which include broken windows, door-frames that came off their hinges and damaged memories.
Lebanon has always been special to me and I have spent many hours and shed many tears following the news since the explosion. I dream of going back one day when the circumstances in the country are safer, more economical and when the government supports its citizens.
These funds would support up to 5 families affected by this tragedy, all of which live within 7 kilometers of the explosion site. They include my cousins, uncles, and family friends.
If coronavirus was not enough, coupled with government unrest, high unemployment levels and now this, Lebanon families need support now more than ever. Please consider donating today.
