LeAnne is 10 years old with a rare condition called CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) and a co-concurring condition of AMPS (amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome) which is sometimes referred to as juvenile Fibromyalgia. She’s in constant pain and it affects her day to day life. She has been put in a wheelchair due to her conditions. Simple tasks such as going to the restroom or taking a bath, she is unable to do independently. She is fully dependent on her parents to help with all tasks when she’s in a flare. She’s had 3 flares since August 2025. She’s been in intense physical therapy 2X a week since end of August that is specialized in her conditions, but it is an hour and 15 minutes away (since they are the closest that specializes in this condition) and she’s been on different medicines, but with no relief when in a flare. Flares come on with no precursor sometimes and no known reason why.

The Spero clinic in Arkansas is a 14-20 week inpatient therapy center that she and her parents would have to commit to hopefully get relief; as they focus on healing the body from the inside out. However, because they treat the body from the inside out and with natural alternative approaches, they don’t accept insurance. And her parents would have to relocate and find temporary housing while they are there.

The Spero Clinic in Arkansas costs between $42,000-$54,000 depending on the treatment needed. A $2,500 deposit is required to hold your appointment as the clinic only accepts a limited number of new patients. Insurance companies do not cover this holistic treatment approach.
