After a decade of living in Seattle and 7 years away from academia, Leanna and Daniel are moving to San Diego so that Leanna can begin her doctoral studies at UCSD this fall, in contemporary performance. Leanna is gobsmacked that she made it into this wildly competitive program in a cohort of only 5 students.

Thing is, moving two entire lives, a dog, a house, is expensive. Daniel will need to find a new job, and Leanna won’t have income from her TA position until October despite needing to be in town to begin classes in September.
