Help Leann Ziegler Fight Breast Cancer
Donation protected
In July, my aunt, Leann Ziegler, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She recently underwent surgery, and unfortunately, the cancer was found to have spread to her lymph nodes. While a PET scan thankfully shows it hasn’t spread further, her treatment journey will be long and challenging. Leann will need 4 bi-weekly rounds of a potent chemotherapy known for its harsh side effects (nicknamed the "Red Devil" by patients), followed by 12 weekly rounds of another type of chemo, and then numerous radiation sessions. This intensive treatment will continue into 2025. Leann has already undergone many tests, including ultrasounds, biopsies, PET scans, CT scans, and extensive bloodwork. As you can imagine, not all of these costs are covered by insurance, and there are additional expenses, like the cost of gas for frequent trips from Foreston to St. Cloud for her appointments. The bills so far are over $5,000 and she hasn’t even started chemo yet. We’ve set up this GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to help Leann and her family during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. We will continue to update this page with her progress, and we appreciate any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or keeping Leann in your thoughts and prayers.
