We are raising funds for Leane Smith, a truly incredible woman and devoted mum, following the heartbreaking news that her cancer has returned and is now incurable.

Leane was first diagnosed with breast cancer on 16th October 2024. After many rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy, she showed extraordinary strength and determination throughout her treatment. On 20th January, she reached a moment that meant so much to her and her family, ringing the bell to mark the end of treatment.

Tragically, she has since been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer that has spread to her lungs and liver. This means the cancer has returned in a more advanced form and requires urgent, specialised care.

Leane is a wonderful mum to her two children, Darla and Ronnie, who are her whole world. She is kind, strong, selfless, and endlessly loving, always putting her children first and filling their lives with warmth, laughter and care. More than anything, she wants to be here for them, to keep making memories, to guide them as they grow, and to watch them become the people they are meant to be.

We are now seeking specialised treatment in Germany, where there are more advanced options that could help slow the progression of the disease and give Leane more precious time with her family. The situation is urgent, and the costs involved are significant.
