Help Leah Stay Housed During Her Medical Crisis
Donation protected
My wonderful sister, Leah has been living with hydronephrosis since birth, but over the past two years her condition has become critical. Her kidneys have now progressed to stage 3.5 disease, leaving her in constant pain and unable to walk more than a few steps. She’s been in and out of the hospital, waiting for insurance approval for her third surgery—a procedure that could finally slow the progression of her illness.
Leah is the most resilient, hard-working, and positive person I know. She has always faced her challenges with determination and pride, never asking for help unless she truly has no other option. Her greatest wish is to be self-sufficient and independent, but right now, her health crisis has left her with no way to support herself.
Because Leah can no longer work and her disability payments have unexpectedly stopped, she’s struggling to cover her rent and basic living expenses. Each month, her health declines as she waits for surgery, and she has no financial support system to help her through this crisis. Leah’s situation is urgent: she needs help to stay housed and safe until she can recover from surgery and regain some stability.
Your support will go directly toward Leah’s rent and daily living costs while she waits for her much-needed operation. Every contribution will help her focus on healing, knowing she has a community behind her. Thank you for standing with Leah during this incredibly difficult time.
