Hi friends. I can't believe that I am authoring a Go-Fund-Me but here I am. Yesterday, my dear friend and neighbor (Theresa Lucas), left for Fargo to take her daughter Leah to the Dr. and then start moving her into her apartment for the school year. When they opened the unit where her belongings had been stored, there was NOTHING salvageable left. Leah's entire contents to her apartment was gone, pilfered, stolen. All her clothes, furniture, desk, area rug , TV; everything needed to live in an apartment. Most importantly and the most devastating loss was 3 years worth of college notes, awards, books, student ID, hospital badges and her year long project and presentation for her studies as a Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Science. Leah is starting her Master's program and now has NOTHING to refer back to as her last 3 years worth of college work is gone.

Leah is a bright, kindhearted, motivated hard worker. I am hoping that by helping Leah replace some of the physical items that were stolen from her we can also help restore her faith in humanity as a crime such as this is such a personal violation as well. Help me show Leah and her family that people are good, and that it's okay to accept help.
