Our cousin, like many others, lost their home in the Eaton Canyon Fire. Leah James is the sole caregiver to her 89-year-old father who is battling dementia. Uncle Bill (or BJ as many know him) worked for the City of Pasadena. His late wife, Linda, worked as an educator in the Dena area. Now, we ask for the community to work for them. This was Leah's childhood home and forever home for Uncle Bill. Everyone is safe but displaced (even the dogs). All belongings, possessions, and materials are gone. Memories are all that remain of this house.
Uncle Bill grew up in Pasadena, the same house my mother now owns. With his 3 siblings (Virginia France- 94 still living). I spent my secondary education in Pasadena and worked at the college. The Dena is home and hope.
Our community has the power to help Leah and her family recover, but they need our support now more than ever. Here is how the funds raised will be used to assist Leah and her family.
1. Basic Necessities: To cover essentials like food, clothing, and other critical items for Leah, her father, and her son.
2. Transportation & Lost Income: To help Leah attend necessary appointments and regain financial stability.
Every donation brings Leah and her family one step closer to recovery. Together, we can support and find hope in the face of this devastating loss.
Thank you for your prayers, donations, support, and compassion as we all recover.
The James, France, and Fisher Family
