Help Leah and Sons Find Shelter This Winter
Donation protected
Good morning and Merry Christmas, but is it really?? This GoFund Me is my last resort, but there is nowhere else to turn. I have known Leah Elizabeth Taliaferro for almost 28 years. She is the most kind, helpful and caring person you would ever meet. Those of you that have met her know this to be true. She is a loving mother to her 2 sons, Mason and Hunter, who like their mom are beautiful souls inside and out. Leah has raised her sons to be polite, honest, caring people who also do very well in school. Leah’s story is that of Cinderella. I’ve called her my little Cinderella girl for many years. Yeah, you know the story! Out of 3 children, Leah has been the only one expected to help in any situation and she always has. She never took for granted the little help she received from her family. I can only write about what I can personally attest to. Leah is willing to work but each and every time she starts a job or tries to go back to school she has to stop for “family obligations “. Very long story short, Leah decided enough was enough with the mental and emotional damage she’s suffered and said she needed to start living her life for her children and herself. Well that has resulted with all of her belongings being put into storage (the condo which was purchased for her but never put in her name) and she has found herself homeless during the most coldest week of the year. Although Leah has received Medicare and food stamps for the majority of her adult life, that doesn’t put a roof over her head. This GoFund Me request is to ask if you could find it in your heart to make a donation so that Leah can find a place to stay and put a roof over her children’s head for a short while and to allow her to find work so that she continue to give her family a place to stay. I know times are tough for everyone but if you could just help a little hopefully we can raise enough even if it’s for an extended stay hotel until she can get back on her feet. Thanking everyone in advance for their kindness and support. Let’s make this Christmas special for Leah and her wonderful boys
