Our lives were recently shaken by the news that our beloved Leah was diagnosed with breast cancer. At just 35, she is the loving mom of two young children, Soren (6) and Fiona (3). Anyone who knows Leah knows she is the heart of her family.

Her full diagnosis is still developing but what we know so far is that she has a triple-positive subtype of breast cancer. This is an aggressive type but it generally responds well to treatment. Please keep praying and sending good thoughts her way. It means a lot to her.

Leah is very grateful to be beginning care at MD Anderson in Houston. Their care has been the best of the best and we feel she is in great hands. Next up are a few more scans and then she will be starting chemotherapy. We will keep everyone updated here.
