I come to you with a heartfelt request with vulnerability and hope.

I need some help to save my life.

I am humbly asking for help raising funds to support my out-of-pocket expenses in treatment for metastatic breast cancer. I have been on this path since May 2024 and had some phenomenal success with treatment in the first year but since 2025 I was unable to access the main treatment that was helping me, as it was no longer available in my hometown. This caused some setbacks and resulted in me seeking some help at an overseas clinic in 2025 which also helped me a lot and relocating to Perth in December 2025 so I could have access to all the support I need.

I have worked my every ounce of my being for 21 months to keep my body, heart, spirit and soul as healthy and strong as it possibly can be and I am dedicated and determined to do whatever it takes to fully recover and be here for my children for a long time. This effort has paid off and kept me in a very healthy state. I am so grateful for this. But there is still work that needs to be done and I need help.

By nature I am a shy and private person and had hoped I could quietly sort this out myself but this journey has taught me that I do not need to do this alone, that there is absolutely no shame in reaching out for support in these times and that there is tremendous love and compassion for me and my family out in the world, and that I just need to be brave enough to ask. I am asking for me, and I ask for my beautiful children who need me, every single day to guide them, raise them, protect them, love them and be healthy for them. I ask for my husband who has stood by my side and wiped my tears away and carried this heavy weight with me.

What a big mission my family and I have been on. We pray for peace, health and long simple beautiful life raising our girls. We understand what a blessing it is to simple go to work and have a meaningful job and care for your family and make precious memories.

One of the greatest stresses we have faced is the financial side of things and what would give much peace in our hearts is to raise enough funds so I can have a year of uninterrupted treatment and get back on track with what was working tremendously well for me in 2024. I may then be in a place to be able to get surgery. I have tried to access my superannuation on several occasions and will continue trying, the red tape is pretty wild and its been a draining process that has held me back.

I felt now it is time to get vulnerable in the hopes that it will allow me to move forward in the way that helped me the most and allow me to live a 'normal' life and raise my kids, and for my husband to work his new FIFO job to keep us afloat.

The past 12 months have been the most challenging of my life finding a way forward. Relocating and uprooting my family was extremely hard but now we are here and ready to do what we came to do!

I am grateful to be in the city and connected with a wonderful team that I did not have access to in Broome. There are some complicated and personal factors around my treatment. When the time is right I may share more, but for now the focus is on the work ahead. No stone has been left unturned, and I’m blessed and grateful to work with a multidisciplinary team and monitored regularly.

I wish to thank the group of family and friends who have supported and helped me all along the way, and the circle of women who have held my ship steady and prayed for me and supported me in the most beautiful ways.

My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts if you can help in any way and help allow me to receive out-of-pocket treatment for the next year. Prayers are also very welcome and received with deep gratitude.

Any extra help received will be used to help cover bills, babysitters, out-of-pocket expenses and appointments, supportive therapies, but the priority will be to fund the treatment that worked successful in 2024. It is currently around $6,000 a month but I am working to get a specific Doctor referral that may help reduce the costs to $4,000 a month.

This is not a time of fear for our family, recovery is near but it has been a huge stress as life gets put on hold when we face a big challenge like this. If you are able to send prayers of healing, light, compassion and strength we will be so deeply grateful.
