Help Martinez MobileWash Get Back To Work

In August of 2020 26 year old Long Beach native and Millikan graduate Eric Martinez had saved up enough to buy a used van.  In his spare time between a full-time job and college classes he outfitted that van with a pressure washer, vacuums, carpet extractor, steamers, foam canons, and a 150 gallon water tank and went into business as Martinez MobileWash.  He quickly became a neighborhood favorite and was looking forward to branching out to offer his services to other parts of Long Beach.

Unfortunately, only 3 months later, on Nov. 3rd Eric Martinez's MobileWash work van was stolen from in front of his house in Long Beach.  As of 11/5 neither the van nor its contents have been recovered.

The insurance company will cover the loss of the van but not the tools or equipment.  Without help it will be a difficult path ahead for Eric to become whole again and get back to work in the community.

Donations will be applied towards replacing the stolen equipment, outfitting a replacement van, insurance, business licensing and taxes.  Total estimated cost: $7,000 to $8,000.

What neighbors say about Eric:
"He works several jobs and when he comes here he’s always on time and often brings his young son or a family member to help."
"That kid is a hard worker."
"I've been a customer for years, I hope he gets back on his feet soon."
"He's got a great attitude, an infectious smile, and a strong sense of family."

Martinez MobileWash is a neighborhood favorite and we are asking for your help in giving this local small business a helping hand.
