Hi there!

If you have ever been in the same room as LB, chances are you've been graced by her hospitable nature, laughed at her wacky jokes, or just generally benefited from her willingness to pitch in on projects or lend an ear to anyone in need.

Over the course of the last year, LB has made personal sacrifices to better her and her child's lives. She has worked as a hairstylist to support herself and child while balancing being a full time student in Monroe Community College's Optics program. This past fall she was forced to leave her corporate stylist position and now works independently at Eclipse Salon.

Unfortunately, during this incredibly demanding time she also developed severe auto-immune symptoms and was recently diagnosed with Mast Cell Disease. As part of her treatment, she will be having her gallbladder removed mid-January, necessitating she takes time off work to recover.

LB has always gone above and beyond for people in her community, and those close to her know that she is the person to call when in need. Let's pull together and chip in so that LB can have a month to focus on recovery and strengthening her body so that she can care for her child and put her best foot forward for the final few semesters of her college program.
