On November 28th, Laynie Sheppard faced an unimaginable tragedy — the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her mother, Amanda Bermudez. Amanda was a loving mom, a loyal friend, and someone who cared deeply for the people in her life. Her passing has left Laynie not only devastated emotionally, but also facing overwhelming financial burdens she was never prepared for.

Laynie is just 21 years old. She’s a full-time student and also works full-time, but due to the off-season at her job, she is being laid off and will have no steady income in the coming weeks. With no savings to cover funeral expenses, she is now struggling to give her mom the service and goodbye she deserves.
